Last day of term today and we say goodbye to our 2017 Leavers.  We also say a sad farewell to Jamie who is leaving us.  Jamie has completed his apprenticeship with us and has passed his Level 2 in Early Years!

Jamie has been such an asset to the Woodland Corner team over the last two years.  He has really made a difference to the Children at Woodland Corner. Jamie has a full time position at a day Nursery in Myland.  We wish him all the best and hope he returns to us one day!

Graduation 2017

 Today we said "well done" to 26 Pre-School Children leaving to four different schools.

Thank you to Nayland Primary for the use of your school hall.  Thank you to Oxana (Tanya's mum) who took the graduation photos this year.  Thanks to the Parents and Carers who took time out of their busy week to come and watch our Graduation and play.   I would like to thank all the Staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the job.  Thank you to our wonderful Committee for all your support and fundraising this year.  Well done to all the Children, you were fantastic!

Pre-School Beach Hut Trip 2017

This year our annual jaunt to Mersea Island will be on Friday 14th July.

All pre-school children are welcome to come but must be accompanied by a parent or carer. To save costs, transport is by parents own cars.

We have booked The Lions Beach Hut at West Mersea from 10am. Maps are available from Woodland Corner.

Please bring your own packed lunch, buckets and spades etc. 

There will not be a regular pre-school session on the 14th July unless the trip is cancelled due to heavy rain when the pre-school session will go ahead as normal.  If there is any doubt about the suitability of the weather a message will be left on the Woodland Corner answer machine (01206 263054) for you to ‘phone in and check or look at our Face Book page.

Don’t forget the sun cream. The sun can burn even on dull days.

Sports Day this Tuesday

Tuesday 4th July is our Pre-School Sports Day.  Races start at 11am followed by a picnic in the Woodland Corner garden (bring your picnic and blanket).
